Painting a Reclaimed Wood Pallet
This tutorial was shared by Ashley Hackshaw of Lilblueboo, who actually painted a pallet much like you saw on the previous page. The only thing different is that she does not have spaces in her slats, but she painted it in under 45 minutes. She actually dismantled her pallet and then she re-attached them to two boards on the back. You won’t necessarily have to do that. The main point here is how she painted it.
Here are the slats nailed together side-by-side.
Measure width of all stripes & tape off width of stripes you will eventually paint white.
Paint the uncovered strips with red paint. Drys quickly. Remove Tape.
Apply blue paint in upper left corner for background for stars.
Then you will want to cover the red stripes to paint the remaining stripes white.
