[TUTORIAL] Make Use Of That Old Entertainment Center – Surprise Your Daughter!
Playing House Was Never More Fun
Imagine as a little girl being given one of these from your parents! Wow! These would keep any tyke busy for hours. What an impression she’d make on her friends, too, when they came over for a play date. Being able to pretend playing house with this adorable kitchen would be the ultimate for any young lass, and it looks like a lot of fun to make.

The total cost was approximately $65. The entertainment center was $20- craigslist. The sink and faucet $15, knobs $4 and blue paint $4- all from the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. I tried to use things we already owned- handles, fabric, pot rack, window trim. About another $25 for plywood, magnetic closures, spray paint, nuts, bolts, washers, plexiglass etc.
Tutorial
Step 1: Take the doors and back off the unit.
Step 2: Reinforce the unit, including plywood for the back.
