As we approach two American holidays, Memorial Day (a day in which we remember those who died in active military service) and Independence Day (a day we celebrate the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation), what decorative colors come to mind? Red, white and blue, of course!

As DIY Crafters and Decorators, we want to start thinking about how we can decorate for those holidays. What can we serve? How can we decorate? In what can we serve things and with what can we decorate? What is fun, different, and festive? What about the good ‘ole Mason jar? So many do-it-yourself items can be made with Mason jars, right?
