These homeowners built their cabinets over their crates, which I find has a really nice sleek and straight-lined effect that makes everything look clean and organized. This is an excellent idea for a laundry room with tile floor, and it’s also great because it can be custom built for your particular needs.

This “doggie den” was built under a kitchen island in a home in Newton, MA. It runs the length of the counter and is a great place for a pet that likes to lie by its owner’s feet, especially while everyone is gathered at the bar.
